I began my journalism training at Northwestern’s Medill School campus in Qatar, where I combined an American journalism education with a uniquely international perspective. There, I built experience across formats and disciplines, from reporting and writing to crafting more conversational television scripts, producing a podcast, and studying the legal and ethical frameworks that shape journalism. Those experiences helped me understand not just how to tell a story, but how the format, audience, and context can shape the way a story is received.

In my work experience I have explored different sides of the media industry, from social media strategy at STAT News to communications and digital storytelling roles with non-profits such as Education Above All and Qatar Foundation. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the intersection of journalism, audience behavior, and digital strategy, particularly how information can be adapted and amplified in an evolving media landscape.
